William was a warm hearted, generous person.  He had many interests including photography, baking bread, scuba diving and knitting. These interests he pursued on top of being a full time engineer.  He was easy going.  He was supportive, earnest, positive, disciplined. He had more stamina than anyone I have ever known. He was a giver; of pictures,of bread, of socks he knit, of lessons in the water, of himself.

Family: parents, sisters, wife, daughters including all those who his family loved.
Doing the right thing.
Sidewalks.
Good food.
Education.
