One donor's story: Ann Scholz
Ann was a free spirit. She was one who “grabbed the bull by the horns,” so to speak, and did whatever she wanted to do. She never seemed too worried about what others thought of her and that was something that I admired about her. Yet, at the same time she was loving, responsible, caring and always remembered birthdays, anniversaries and other special events of those she loved. She supported other’s endeavors and was always very generous, even at the very end.
Ann loved riding horses, camping, and looked forward to finding a small place that would accommodate horses when she would retire.
Ann was a registered donor, as is her surviving Mother and Brother. We learned of her donor status while completing the paperwork.
