One donor's story: Jason McCormick
Jason was adventurous, free spirited, and creative. He loved having deep, philosophical conversations with people, being outside, and traveling. He was an avid cyclist and commuted on his bicycle over 30 miles each day. He had a genuine heart and was intentional about everything he did.
Jason enjoyed quality time with his friends and family, traveling, camping, and cycling. His creative side drew him to art fairs, inspired him to get multiple tattoos, some of which he drew himself, and he had a skill for photography that he shared via multiple instagram accounts. He cared deeply for others and always wanted people to live their lives to the absolute fullest with no regrets.
Jason was killed in a bicycle accident and when I learned that he wished to be a donor it was comforting to know that he would be helping others even after he died. He inspired me to be a donor, and I hope that his gifts have made a significant impact in the lives of others.
