Spending time with family and friends is what is important to me.

One of my best friends died while waiting for a new heart on the transplant list when I was 20. I’ve been registered as a donor on my license ever since and always knew I wanted to do more if the opportunity arose. My husband’s sister went on the kidney transplant list so I was tested. Amazingly I was a match and am so thankful every day that I could help her feel better and regain her strength. If given the chance, I’d do it all again in a heartbeat.
