I am a 58 year old male and a recovering alcoholic. I lived a very unhealthy life before, but I have turned my life around. I go to school- I have new friends. I am now sober and happy with myself & every day I can help others.

I became a donor because my older brother, Tony, age 69, was waiting for a kidney for the last five years so, I went HCMC to see if I was a match and they all kept saying it looks good, really good!! I was a perfect match! And now 6 months later we are both doing very well. Above & beyond expectation!!!

It is important to me to be part of something so great and wonderful. Donation has really made me a stronger person. I love my brother & was glad to help him! He is a War Vet. Thank You HCMC for making this happen!!!
