I am the proud mother of six wonderful children and grandmother of twelve beautiful grandchildren.  I teach sixth grade math at a local intermediate school.  I am involved in adult education at my local parish, St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.

Faith and family are very important to me.  That is why I was eager to help Dave by donating a kidney.  From the time I learned that he needed one, I was convinced that I could give him one.  And all through the process, I prayed that I would qualify to donate.

My brother-in-law has polycystic kidney disease and he needed a donor.  I am not a blood relative, but I was a match.  The rest is history.
