A friend has chronic kidney disease. She needed a kidney and I had one to spare. Got into the paired exchange program and now get to celebrate being a part of two people’s lives. Being a donor is one of the best and most significant things I’ve ever experienced. The care I received at HCMC from start to finish was just awesome.
