I grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota where I learned at a young age to care for all living things. After High School, I joined the Navy for four years. At 24 I married my now wife, Cathy, and we have 3 beautiful daughters and 5 grand children.

Family and friends.

My brother-in-law lost the use of his kidneys and I said “if there is anything I can do, feel free to ask.” After several members of his family were turned down because they were not a match, he asked me and I said sure, not even giving it another thought. The next thing I knew, I was giving him a kidney.
