I am the proud mother of 5 children and grandmother of 4 grandchildren. I have been married to my best friend for 24 years. My husband Ken and I have fostered several children in our home. I work as a Patient Services Representative at a Children’s Therapy Rehabilitation Center.

My family is the most important thing to me. We spend a lot of time camping and riding our ATVs. We are Christians and attend church every Sunday as a family. My faith and my family are what keep me strong! I am blessed.

My mother was diagnosed with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Failure. We researched all of the possibilities for her treatment and decided that the best option would be a Kidney transplant so I volunteered to be her donor. We were a perfect match but unfortunately her transplant failed shortly after the surgery. We gained a beautiful angel November 2011 when she lost her battle with CKF at the age of 66.
