One donor's story: Michael “Smokey” Giehtbrock
Michael was a beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather and also a great grandfather and friend.
He was my husband for 34 years
When we took him off life support
He passed August 2nd – August 16 would have been our 35 wedding anniversary ❣
We have three children four grandchildren and one great grandchild
I feel like I’ve lost my prince
My knight in shining armor
He truly was my soulmate
I miss him so
He had the kindest warmest loving heart that God could’ve gave anyone. we miss him so so much in every aspect of our life.
He would have been happy if he could help anyone out with any of his organs to help another person walk, talk, see or breathe again❣
Family, family, family was the most important to Michael ❣❣
He cared about his friends and tinkering in the garage with the motorcycles with his friend, Steve
He loved taking long motorcycle rides, he passed doing something he loved, “riding his motorcycle”
He called it wind therapy.
He loved sailing.
He loved the Minnesota’s north shore.
Most of all he loved his wife of 35 years and a whole lot of family ❣❣
Mike believed that donation was the right thing to do.
when you’re done with it, pay forward❣Help others❣And life will live on❣
