I am a research chemist in Cincinnati, OH where I live with my wonderful wife of 28 years and three great children, Gabriel, Lucas, and Emily.

In late 2017, my cousin, who has been living with polycystic kidney disease (PKD) for 20 years, went into end-stage kidney failure. In July 2018, after rigorous testing to ensure I was a good match, I donated a kidney (Lefty). My cousin’s kidney function began improving immediately, and she’s excited to be feeling better and more able take part in things in life that she’s been missing out on.
