This is what I would like you to know about me. I am married with two sons, two daughter-in-laws and a precious new grandson! I am truly blessed! My kidney donation could never have been done without the love and support from my husband, my family and friends and what they gave up to make this possible. Also my employer allowed me the time off to do this.

Doing the kidney donation was another blessing in my life. To be healthy and a good match for my niece made the decision to donate easy!

Life is too short so live it to the fullest! Being surrounded by my family, friends and those that we love is the best gift and the most important things in life!

If you are ever able to donate a kidney (or any other organs), please do this!!!

The reason why I became a donor was because my niece’s kidneys were failing and she was on dialysis. There was no question in my mind that donating a kidney to my niece was the right thing to do!  Her young son and husband needed her to be around to watch and guide their son as he grows up to be a wonderful young man.
