John was lively and loving and truly cared about the people he met. He loved adventure, loved seeing the world, and being with his family. He was happiest when he could do all of that at the same time. He will be missed beyond measure.

John’s friends and family were his world. He loved math and hard work and everything in the forest, especially the birds. His friends and family will know his other favorite things: Chainsaws, languages, the Scion, a good bonfire, and a well-crafted spread sheet.

John was a very generous spirit, his wish was always to be a donor and when the opportunity presented itself, we knew that could be his last and most important act of generosity.
