I was born and raised in Hope, ND, as the youngest of 5. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I have an LPN nursing degree and currently work as a polysomnographer technician. I am an avid sports fan with the Twins and Lynx being my favorite 2 teams. I enjoy many activities such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, camping, biking and traveling.

My brother Garth has diabetes and was in kidney failure for 3 + years. Most of our immediate family members agreed to get tested for a possible Kidney donation. Garth then started Dialysis- you could see his health failing. He underwent testing to get on the donor list, had some set backs(cardiac bypass) then was a canidate for a kidney. I was a perfect match to donate my kidney. I was happy to be able to help him! When you see the pain and constant battle for life he went through, it was a small gift that I could give him. He now  has some freedom  to have a better quality/quantity of life.
