One donor's story: Brian Smith
Our father was something like a wild child. He was always being spontaneous with what he chose to do on a daily basis, but you better believe he would fit in a movie or two of the action variety. He did struggle to show emotions sometimes, but when he did get a grasp of them, he was passionate about them. When he thought any of us were in trouble, he was there. For the most part, he was a mellow guy, chill with most things going on. He was a big-hearted and easily excitable person. He was quite chatty and always wanted to know about the California weather in comparison to Minnesota. He will be missed, his goofiness, his superb memory of all of his favorite movies, and his love for cars.
He loved painting car models, fixing up his red Chevy, rewatching many different action movies (especially his favorite scenes), he also liked taking his kids to Dave & Buster’s where he, along with their mother, would win a favorable amount of tickets for prizes. Oh, and let’s not forget his hobby of driving his remote-controlled boats in any body of water that was readily available.
