I am married to my high school sweetheart of 22 years, I am mom of two wonderful teen boys. Travel with my family, being outside in my garden and fostering cats and kittens are some of my favorite things!

My faith, my family, and the life God has given me are the most important things to me.

Over 8 years ago, I felt a calling on my life to become a kidney donor, but I didn’t know who or when that would happen. In 2021 a friend of mine posted a link on Facebook of a gal who needed a kidney and I knew in my heart this was my recipient. I filled out the forms and then I waited. Over a year later I was contacted to be screened and finally in February of 2023 we became an official match! The donation didn’t happen until October of 2025 but over the course of those two years me and my recipient have become dear friends. I had the honor of giving her my kidney in October and it was one of the best days of my life! I truly believe in my heart that God orchestrated this. From the first screening to the day of surgery every door was opened and it’s my wish that others would be inspired to give the gift of life if they are able.
