Matt was a bright light in our world and he loved his family. Matt had a big and tender heart. He cared for others. He was empathetic and had a sense of humor. Matt was a kind and generous person. Matt loved football, the Vikings, fishing, volleyball and grilling. He enjoyed these pass times with his family and friends.

Matt would do just about anything for others. He cared deeply for others. Matt was proud of his work and gave it his time, energy, honor and duty. Standing up for others was important to Matt. Matt deeply loved and was protective of his family.

Matt’s final generosity was to be a donor on his driver’s license. He also expressed to family his desire to gift any organs to others that needed them. Matt would be very proud of his gift. His family is also very proud of his life saving gift and hope others consider organ donation.
